Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior bridge engineer to lead long-span and complex bridge projects across the US. You will oversee design teams, perform engineering analysis, and prepare contract documents while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

The role requires a Master’s in structural engineering, 15+ years of experience, and a PE license with multi-state eligibility. Hybrid work model and nationwide project opportunities are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in structural engineering or related discipline.
• Fifteen years of demonstrated professional experience including Engineer of Record or Lead Engineer.
• Strong leadership and client-facing experience in bridge design.
• Experience with long-span and complex bridge projects.

Responsibilities

• Represent Jacobs' technical capabilities in long-span bridge projects.
• Lead staff for engineering analysis, design, and contract documents.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate multidisciplinary staff across offices.
• Manage projects to meet schedule and budget requirements.
• Mentor staff and uphold project quality and standards.
• Represent Jacobs at client meetings and technical committees.
• Contribute to thought leadership and conference papers.
