Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead enterprise defense sales for the United States Air Force within Cisco Federal / US Public Sector. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams and cultivate relationships with military and SES leaders to deliver secure networking, zero-trust, and multi-cloud solutions on deals ranging from $100K to $50M+.

Qualifications

7+ years of quota-carrying enterprise technology sales or defense pre-sales experience.
Proven track record managing $100K–$50M+ deals across 6–18 month timelines.
Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, zero-trust, and secure infrastructure tech.
Ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams and defense partners.
U.S. Citizenship required with up to 30–50% travel.

Responsibilities

Lead defense sales cycles across Air Force MAJCOMs and agencies, coordinating cross-functional teams.
Build trusted advisor relationships with General Officers, SES, CIO/CDO, and acquisition leaders.
Drive growth in core defense infrastructure and security offerings including zero-trust, networking, and cloud.
Manage opportunity prospecting, capture planning, and CRM pipeline with multi-year horizons.
Navigate FAR/DFARS, IDIQ, GWACs in partnership with FSIs and distribution partners.
