Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect in the Strategic Pricing & Insights Group to lead financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY's most strategic opportunities. You will shape offers, negotiations, and business cases, leveraging competitive intelligence, client requirements, and EY cost-to-serve models to maximize margins and value.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in pricing/strategy, strong financial modelling, and experience in professional services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting, or commercial/contract management.
• Proven proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and associated metrics.
• Proven track record designing, modelling and structuring deals with various pricing strategies across consulting and managed services.
• Strong pursuit management, relationship management, executive presence and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments.
• Effective written and verbal communications.
• Ability to use generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) as thought partners to accelerate analysis and decision support.
• University/Bachelor’s Degree required

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY's opportunities.
• Develop, test, and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve win probability.
• Assess price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
• Design commercial structures aligned to client value and EY risk.
• Translate complex commercial considerations into a compelling narrative for executives.
