Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect in the US to lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY's most strategic, complex, and transformative opportunities.

You will shape, negotiate, and close new business by drawing together competitive intelligence, client requirements, EY cost-to-serve, and pricing strategies, while guiding teams to articulate differentiated value across EY’s offerings in a hybrid, globally connected environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting, or related fields.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and metrics.
• Proven track record designing and structuring deals across consulting and managed services.
• Strong pursuit management and executive presence with influencing skills.
• Able to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners.
• A University / Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve competitiveness.
• Assess EY’s proposed price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
• Use competitive intelligence to challenge solution design and differentiation.
• Design commercial structures aligned to client value drivers with appropriate EY return.
• Drive opportunities through governance by translating financial considerations into executive narratives.
