Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Deal Architect within our Strategic Pricing & Insights group to lead the financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for our most strategic opportunities.

You will guide teams in developing a compelling business case, shape pricing methodologies, and negotiate structures to maximize margins while mitigating risk, with a focus on delivering differentiated client value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting, or related fields.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and metrics.
• Proven track record designing and structuring deals across consulting and managed services.
• Strong pursuit management, relationship management, and executive presence.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving pursuit environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use generative AI tools as thought partners to accelerate reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to win.
• Assess price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
• Challenge solution design to improve differentiation and client value.
• Design commercial structures aligned to client value while ensuring EY returns.
• Translate complex commercial and risk considerations into executive narratives.
