Job summary

EY is seeking a Deal Architect within the Strategic Pricing & Insights Group in the US. You will lead financial, commercial, and competitive strategy for EY’s most strategic opportunities, shaping business cases and negotiating terms to maximize margins.

This role requires 6+ years in pricing/strategy consulting or similar, expert financial modelling, and strong leadership to drive cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in professional services, pricing and commercials, strategy consulting, or related fields.
• Expert proficiency in financial modelling, accounting, budgeting, and metrics.
• Experience designing and structuring deals using various pricing strategies across consulting and managed services.
• Strong pursuit and relationship management with executive presence and influencing skills.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel; not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine offer design, pricing approach, and commercial strategy to improve competitiveness and win probability.
• Assess proposed price points against market benchmarks and client value drivers.
• Challenge solution design using market insights to strengthen differentiation and value for client and EY.
• Design commercial structures aligned to client value drivers while ensuring EY returns.
• Translate complex commercial and financial considerations into compelling narratives for executive stakeholders.
