Job summary

ChargeTronix is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician (Tier III) to own uptime across a Southern California territory. You will fix complex DC fast-charger faults, commission new sites, and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with engineers.

Expect heavy travel and direct customer interaction. The role advances field reliability, with leadership from the Field Service Manager and opportunities to influence product improvements through field bulletins and SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical or electromechanical field service, incl. 3+ years on EV charging equipment.
• Experience with 480 V three-phase systems and high-voltage DC.
• Track record of training or leading other technicians and writing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair DC fast-charger faults at component level when needed.
• Commission and test new installations, verify 480 V service, grounding, and network registration.
• Own uptime, MTTR, and first-time-fix rate for sites in the territory; report weekly.
