Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s data security and management platform.

You will partner with Account Executives to drive new opportunities, deliver tailored technical solutions, and support complex customer engagements across security, data protection, and cloud technologies. Qualifications

• Pre‑sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience.
• Familiarity with data security concepts: ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, access controls.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives on complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, design, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Support technical strategy for enterprise opportunities in partnership with the Account Executive and contribute to deal progression and win strategy.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into existing production environments and respond to technical requests promptly.
• Lead and support technical engagements such as product demos, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas to shape proofs of concept that demonstrate Cohesity’s cyber resilience and data security value.
• Assist with competitive displacement conversations by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay customer feedback and drive product improvements.
• Provide post-sales technical assistance or project support to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
