Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Sr Sales Engineer to support enterprise opportunities and drive adoption of our modern data security and management platform. You will partner with Account Executives to articulate the Data Cloud portfolio, design solutions, deliver demos, and guide proofs of concept across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies.
• Knowledge of data security concepts including ransomware resilience and encryption.
• Experience supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision processes.

Responsibilities

• Articulate Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, design, demos, and PoCs.
• Support technical strategy for enterprise opportunities in partnership with the Account Executive.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into existing production environments.
• Lead and support technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, and evaluations.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas, shaping proofs of concept highlighting Cohesity’s value.
• Assist with competitive displacement conversations.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay customer feedback.
• Provide post-sales technical assistance to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
