Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to support Slack's Go-to-Market organization. You will partner with Sales Strategy, Sales Programs, Product, Finance, and Data teams to uncover opportunities that accelerate growth and shape GTM strategy through data.

You will apply advanced analytics, experimentation, and predictive modeling to understand customer behavior, evaluate initiatives, and build scalable analytic frameworks that enable smarter, evidence‑based decisions.

Qualifications

4+ years of industry experience applying data science to business problems.
Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python/R/Scala).
Experience with large-scale data technologies (Spark, Hive, Hadoop).
Ability to communicate complex analyses to executives.
Experience partnering with GTM teams to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

Identify strategic GTM opportunities with leadership and influence key decisions.
Apply analytics to understand customer behavior and drivers of growth.
Develop forecasting methods and segmentation frameworks for GTM planning.
Design measurement strategies and success metrics for programs.
Build scalable analytic frameworks and trusted datasets with Data Engineering.
