Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support Slack's Go-to-Market organization. You will partner with Sales Strategy, Sales Programs, Product, Finance, and Data teams to uncover opportunities that accelerate growth, improve customer outcomes, and shape GTM strategy through data.

You will build predictive models, experimentation frameworks, and measurement systems to enable smarter decisions at scale, collaborating with engineers and leaders to drive evidence-based outcomes across GTM

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience applying data science to solve business problems.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language for data science (Python/R/Scala).
• Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, causal inference, predictive modeling.
• Experience with large-scale data technologies (Spark, Presto, Hive, Hadoop or similar).
• Ability to clearly communicate analytical findings to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Experience partnering with GTM orgs to influence strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic opportunities with GTM leadership and influence key decisions.
• Apply analytics to understand customer behavior, sales performance, and growth drivers.
• Develop predictive models, segmentation, and forecasting methodologies for GTM planning.
• Design measurement strategies and success metrics for products, programs, and initiatives.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover revenue growth opportunities and efficiency gains.
• Build scalable analytical frameworks to uncover trends and quantify impact.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to develop trusted datasets for modeling.
• Create intelligence solutions linking account health, product usage, and seller actions.
• Translate analyses into Executive-ready narratives and dashboards.
• Champion evidence-based decision making with trusted metrics and methodologies.
