Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to support Slack's Go-to-Market organization. You will partner with Sales Strategy, Sales Programs, Product, Finance, and Data teams to uncover opportunities that accelerate growth and shape GTM strategy through data.

You will apply advanced analytics, experimentation, and statistical methods to understand customer behavior, evaluate strategic initiatives, and optimize GTM performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry data science or analytics experience.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one data science language (Python/R/Scala).
• Strong statistical knowledge and experimentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM leadership to identify opportunities and influence decisions.
• Apply analytics to understand customer behavior and sales performance.
• Develop predictive models, segmentation, and forecasting for GTM.
• Design measurement strategies and success metrics.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses for revenue growth and efficiency.
• Build scalable analytical frameworks to uncover trends.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on datasets and foundations.
• Work with Product and Sales Strategy to create intelligence solutions.
• Translate analyses into narratives, dashboards, and executive recommendations.
• Promote evidence-based decision making across GTM.
