FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation is seeking a senior counsel to support the company’s privacy, data protection, and AI program goals and compliance obligations.

The role reports to the Chief Litigation, Employment & Privacy Counsel and collaborates with the Privacy Officer, Data Governance Director, and IS/Legal teams to advise on privacy, AI, and cybersecurity matters across North America, South America, and Europe.

Qualifications

• A JD degree and U.S. state bar membership are required.
• 8–12 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with 5–10 years in data privacy and security.
• Knowledge of CPRA, VDCPA, HIPAA, GDPR, TCPA, CAN-SPAM.
• Experience drafting AI, privacy and security contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Privacy and AI certifications are a plus.
• Experience with incident response and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject-matter expert to Fujifilm attorneys on data privacy and protection matters.
• Advise on compliance with U.S. and global data privacy laws.
• Support privacy program and risk minimization.
• Assist with PIAs/DPIAs and vendor risk reviews.
• Develop privacy training and awareness initiatives.
• Negotiate data processing agreements and data protection terms.
• Provide guidance on AI governance and responsible use.
• Support incident response and investigations.
• Advise on privacy issues across North America, South America, and Europe.
