This fully remote US role supports enterprise privacy initiatives, incident response, and cross‑functional collaboration on data security matters.

The position requires 8–12 years of legal experience with deep privacy expertise, strong negotiation skills, and background in global data

Qualifications

• JD degree and U.S. state bar membership in good standing.
• 8-12 years practicing attorney with 5-10 years privacy/security experience.
• Knowledge of CPRA, VDCPA, HIPAA, GDPR, TCPA, CAN-SPAM.
• Experience drafting AI/privacy/security contracts and contract provisions.
• Experience with data protection incident response and investigations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and advisor to Fujifilm attorneys on data privacy and security matters.
• Advise on compliance with data protection laws globally.
• Collaborate to enhance the privacy program and minimize risk.
• Support PIAs/DPIAs, vendor risk reviews, and internal assessments.
• Develop privacy training and awareness initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate AI/privacy/security contracts and terms.
• Advise on privacy and data handling in investigations and incidents.
• Support AI governance and regulatory developments.
