Qualifications

• A JD degree and U.S. state bar membership are required.
• 8–12 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with 5–10 years in data privacy and security.
• Understanding of privacy statutes, regulations and guidance (e.g., CPRA, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Experience drafting and negotiating AI, privacy and security related contracts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject-matter expert on data privacy and protection law for Fujifilm attorneys and business teams.
• Advise on compliance with U.S. and global data protection laws, including disclosures, consent forms, and related issues.
• Support privacy program with data mapping, PIAs/DPIAs, vendor risk reviews, and training initiatives.
• Negotiate AI, privacy and data security terms in contracts with partners and vendors.
• Provide guidance on incident response, data protection obligations, and emerging privacy developments.
• Advise on governance for AI and responsible use, aligning with privacy and ethical standards.
