Job summary

Fujifilm Holdings America Corporation seeks a senior counsel to support privacy, data protection, and AI program goals and compliance obligations across multiple business functions. The role reports to the Chief Litigation, Employment & Privacy Counsel and collaborates with Privacy Officer, Data Governance Director, Information Security Officer, and legal team to address regulatory requirements in North America, South America, and Europe.

The position is fully remote within the US.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active U.S. state bar admission required.
• 8–12 years of attorney experience with 5–10 years in data privacy, security, or AI matters.
• Strong knowledge of CPRA, VDCPA, HIPAA, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA and related privacy regimes.
• Experience drafting and negotiating AI, privacy and security contracts and data protection provisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert on data privacy and protection law for Fujifilm attorneys and business teams.
• Advise on compliance with U.S. and global privacy laws including data collection, use, disclosures and consent forms.
• Support privacy program enhancements, PIAs/DPIAs, vendor risk reviews, and data mapping inventories.
• Draft, review, and negotiate AI, privacy and security agreements and related contract provisions.
• Provide legal direction on data protection laws impacting operations and contracts.
