Job summary

Fujifilm Holdings America Corporation seeks a senior counsel to guide privacy, data protection, and AI program compliance across business functions. You will advise on US and international laws, support incident response, and work with cross‑functional teams to implement privacy controls.

This is a fully remote role within the US and reports to senior privacy leadership. You will help shape AI governance, draft and negotiate relevant contracts, and stay current on evolving privacy regulations

Qualifications

JD degree and U.S. state bar membership required.
8–12 years practicing attorney experience, with 5–10 years in data privacy and security.
Knowledge of CPRA, VDCPA, HIPAA, GDPR, TCPA, CAN‑SPAM and related laws.
Experience drafting and negotiating AI, privacy and security contracts.
Experience with data loss prevention and cybersecurity incidents.
Excellent negotiation and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as subject matter expert on data privacy and protection law for Fujifilm teams.
Advise on compliance with U.S. and global privacy laws in data collection and use.
Collaborate to enhance the privacy program and reduce privacy risk.
Support PIAs/DPIAs, vendor risk reviews, and data mapping efforts.
Develop privacy training and awareness initiatives for employees.
Negotiate AI, privacy and data security terms in partner/vendor contracts.
Provide guidance on incident response and data breach investigations.
Assist in AI governance and responsible use framework alignment.
