Job summary

FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation is seeking a Senior Counsel to independently and collaboratively handle complex legal matters for the US and global CDMO business. You will provide business-focused counsel on commercial, regulatory, and IP issues, shaping contracting standards across geographies and functions.

This role offers remote work with a preference for East Coast-based operations, requiring 8–12 years of experience and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to at least one state bar; NC admission preferred.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in corporate law or in-house.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial, regulatory, and IP frameworks; strong judgment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts (MSAs, SOWs, supply, development/manufacturing/services, NDAs).
• Advise senior management on legal/regulatory risks impacting CDMO/Life Sciences operations (GMP, data privacy, competition).
• Act as principal advisor and external spokesperson on legal topics for CDMO/Life Sciences sectors.
• Develop long-term legal strategies and playbooks; guide development of new ideas and templates.
• Partner with Commercial/Program teams on high-value collaborations; drive issue resolution for timely deal closure.
• Manage a high-volume, complex caseload autonomously; report progress to stakeholders.
• Provide IP guidance and licensing framework insights; shape platform IP allocation.
• Lead training and playbooks; elevate compliance across functions and regions.
• Improve CLM processes and data insights; ensure quality and consistency.
• Manage outside counsel and budgets; ensure value and timely delivery.
• Support policy and compliance rollout across groups (US/UK/Denmark/global).
