Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a cloud analytical data platform (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) with governance and cost optimization.
• Experience building and operating containerized applications with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience building internal platforms or self-service infrastructure to improve developer productivity.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth/OIDC, and identity/SSO patterns in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for reliable platform services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform features for data apps at scale, including provisioning, deploy pipelines, access control, and reliability tooling.
• Build and maintain integrations between platform and internal systems (CI/CD, secrets management, external APIs).
• Design secure data access patterns and governance across the analytics stack.
• Automate toil and develop self-service tooling for platform users.
• Improve observability, incident response, and runbooks for platform services.
• Participate in on-call coverage and platform maintenance.
