Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer on our Data & Performance Enablement team to design and implement the platforms that manage all distributed event streaming technologies. You will own the development of features for our database, messaging, and data warehouse platforms.

You will mentor other engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for your area. You will design, build, and maintain data platform components, troubleshoot performance and reliability issues,

Qualifications

• 5 years of applicable experience.
• Experience with Kafka/Redis messaging systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash or Python).
• Solid cloud experience with Azure or AWS and their managed services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data platform components for provisioning, backups, and user management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and reliability issues in data systems; act as escalation point.
