Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the Data & Performance Enablement team to design and implement platforms managing distributed event streaming, databases, messaging, and data warehouses. You will mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, and influence the technical roadmap.

You will work on provisioning automation, data security and scalability, and contribute to performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of applicable experience in data platforms or similar roles.
• Experience with distributed event streaming and data platform components.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automation tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data platform components for provisioning and backups.
• Troubleshoot complex performance and reliability issues in data systems.
• Mentor junior engineers on DBRE principles and data modeling.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical services.
