CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the Data & Performance Enablement team. You will design and implement data platforms and lead features for database, messaging, and data warehouse platforms, mentoring engineers and shaping the technical roadmap.

You will work with on-call support, contribute to automation, and drive scalable data models while aligning with security and reliability goals across AWS/Azure environments.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with Kafka and Redis messaging systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure or AWS).

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain key components of our data platform automation for provisioning, backups, and user management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and reliability issues in our data systems.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data streaming services, security, scalability, and automation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support the team's critical services.
• Mentor junior engineers on database administration, query optimization, and DBRE principles.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap by researching new data technologies and proposing innovative solutions.
