Cambia Health Solutions is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead a team of Data Engineers. You will own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines and data models, mentor peers, and drive engineering standards across analytics platforms.

The role focuses on optimizing performance, growth opportunities into Principal engineering or architecture roles, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products and operational reporting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering with senior or lead roles.
• College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in healthcare or complex enterprise data environments is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
• Independently design, build, tune, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines and data models.
• Optimize performance, sizing, and cost management of data platforms.
• Partner with analytics, product, governance, QA, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
• Contribute to platform strategy, risk assessments, and modern practices adoption (DataOps, CI/CD, AI tools).
• Ensure data quality, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
