Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead a team of data engineers, owning scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines and platform artifacts for analytics and reporting.

The role combines hands-on data engineering with technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration across product, QA, and governance teams to drive measurable impact in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering, with senior or lead experience.
• College degree in a related field or equivalent experience in health care industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
• Independently design, build, tune, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines, data models, and platform artifacts.
• Optimize performance (query tuning, compute sizing, workload isolation, cost management).
• Partner with analytics, product, governance, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality, observable data solutions.
• Contribute to platform strategy, risk assessments, and adoption of modern practices (DataOps, CI/CD, AI tools).
• Ensure data quality, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrate technical leadership by breaking down complex work and delivering value in squad/model environments.
