Cambia Health Solutions seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead a team of Data Engineers in designing and owning scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines and data models. You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and help drive platform strategy across analytics, governance, and product teams.

The role offers growth into principal engineering or architecture and requires deep Snowflake, SQL, dbt, and data-ops proficiency in a healthcare enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering, with senior or lead experience.
• College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields; may be substituted by experience.
• Healthcare domain experience or exposure is preferred (e.g., Provider Network, Digital Solutions, Pricing, Membership, Claims).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
• Independently design, build, tune, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines, data models, and platform artifacts.
• Optimize performance via query tuning, compute sizing, and cost management.
• Partner with analytics, product, governance, QA, and business teams to deliver high‑quality data solutions.
• Contribute to platform strategy, risk assessments, and adoption of DataOps, CI/CD, and AI tools.
• Ensure data quality, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
