Job summary

Advanced Medical Management, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve our enterprise data platform, including Snowflake and dbt, to enable reliable reporting and decision-making in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

You will design and optimize ELT pipelines using SQL and Python, partner with BI and IT teams, ensure data quality and governance, and drive automation and scalability across the data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years designing and supporting enterprise data platforms and data warehouses.
• 3+ years with Snowflake and dbt in production environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for ELT pipelines and automation.
• Strong data modeling, governance, and performance optimization knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD tooling.
• Healthcare/HIPAA experience preferred; ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the organization's enterprise data platform, including Snowflake and dbt.
• Lead design, governance, and optimization of data pipelines and architecture.
• Develop ELT pipelines in SQL and Python sourcing data from multiple systems.
• Maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure and deployment tooling.
• Ensure data quality, validation, monitoring, and documentation.
• Collaborate with BI, application owners, and IT leadership on requirements.
• Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate data integrations with vendors.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and IT governance standards.
