Cambia Health Solutions is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead a team of Data Engineers and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines and data models. You will mentor engineers, set technical standards, and influence platform strategy in a complex enterprise environment.

The role emphasizes data governance, security, and delivering observable data solutions with a consulting mindset. Remote work options are available and relocation is supported within the region.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering, with senior or lead experience.
• College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields (or equivalent experience in health care).
• Experience with healthcare or complex enterprise data environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices.
• Independently design, build, tune, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines, data models, and platform artifacts.
• Optimize performance through query tuning, compute sizing, workload isolation, and cost management.
• Partner with analytics, product, governance, QA, and business teams to deliver high‑quality, observable data solutions.
• Contribute to platform strategy, risk assessments, and adoption of modern practices (DataOps, CI/CD, AI tools).
• Ensure data quality, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
