Job summary

Databricks is seeking experienced pre-sales professionals to partner with Account Executives and drive the technical strategy for large Retail and CPG accounts, leading to broader adoption of ML & AI across an organization.

You will work with up to 9 clients as the main technical voice, guiding them on evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their strategy, and mentoring other team members along the way.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Retail/CPG space with $1m ARR+
• 3+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales
• Technical background in big data, data science, and cloud
• Ability to drive data-driven business transformation
• Design and implementation experience in Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP or full lifecycle data science solutions
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical voice for up to 9 clients in Databricks
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to adopt Databricks
• Implement the technical strategy within the account
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members
