Job summary

Databricks is seeking experienced pre-sales professionals to guide large enterprise customers in becoming more data-driven. You will collaborate with Account Executives to define technical strategy, lead proofs of concept, and drive ML/AI adoption in Retail and CPG accounts.

As the primary technical voice for 1–5 clients, you will mentor team members and align Databricks solutions with client strategy while demonstrating production-ready data solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Retail/CPG with > $1m ARR.
• 4+ years in pre-sales or supporting sales.
• Technical in big data, data science and cloud.
• Experience with Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP.
• Production programming in Python, R, Scala or Java.
• Databricks Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the main technical voice for 1–5 clients.
• Lead customers on a transformational journey to adopt Databricks.
• Implement the technical strategy in the account.
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
• Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
• Mentor other team members.
