Oracle is seeking an on-site Data Center Technician to identify upgrade opportunities, validate cabling and connectivity, and mentor technicians in a 24/7/365 environment. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs/MOPs, operational reliability, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities include hardware maintenance, network installation, ticketing coordination, safety compliance, and continuous improvement, with travel as needed. Strong communication and Linux/CLI knowledge are valued.

Responsibilities

• Datacenter Services Operations-Break/Fix and Hardware Maintenance: identify opportunities for team members to work on servers and main hardware to ensure lifecycle performance; guide and coach less experienced technicians on hardware replacement.
• Datacenter Services Operations-Network Configuration, Installation, and Augmentation: instruct on network configurations, validate cabling and connectivity, sign off on client configurations.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: monitor and assign work in ticketing system, mentor juniors, implement solutions within SLAs.
• Safety and Compliance: adhere to SOPs/MOPs, ensure security procedures, maintain health and safety guidelines on-site.
• Continuous Improvement: train on fix techniques, identify recurring issues, escalate to experts, engage global team.
• Collaboration, Vendor Relations, and Leadership: coordinate with partners, ensure SLAs; provide SME guidance; QA through process creation and training.
• Core Responsibilities: planning and execution, collaboration, problem solving, continuous learning, and process improvements; maintain documentation.
