Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Datacenter Services professional to identify opportunities, validate hardware, manage ticketing, and mentor staff. You will follow SOPs/MOPs for change control and act as a technical liaison to mitigate risks in resiliency and availability. Travel may be required, and safety/compliance must be maintained.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teams, adherence to procedures, and continuous improvement in data center operations within a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware systems and components.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Shift schedule includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a 9 ft ladder.
• Experience with Oracle servers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities for others to replace or upgrade server components.
• Monitors and assigns work in ticketing environment and mentors technicians.
• Trains on fix/repair techniques per SOPs/MOPs for Data Center Change Control.
• Acts as technical liaison to identify and resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
• Guides teams on power distribution units and replacement hardware.
• Validates cabling and network connectivity in client environments.
• Monitors SLAs and escalates trends when needed.
• Ensures safety, security, and documentation compliance.
