Job summary

Ll Oefentherapie is seeking a data center technician to identify opportunities to upgrade server components, validate cabling, and ensure network connectivity. You will monitor and assign work in a ticketing system and mentor less experienced technicians to meet SOPs and MOPs in an on-site data center.

This 24/7 role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ladder access, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays while supporting change control and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in client-facing, direct customer support and service, data center, or related field experience
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 4 years of experience in client-facing, direct customer support and service, data center, or related field experience
• Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Center Operations or related field AND 3 years of experience in client-facing, direct customer support and service, data center, or related field experience

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to replace or upgrade server components
• Validate cabling and ensure network environment connectivity
• Monitor and assign work in ticketing environment
• Mentor less experienced technicians or implement technical solutions
• Train advanced fix and repair techniques aligned with SOPs/MOPs
• Act as technical liaison to resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks
• Support data center change control processes
• Provide subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams
