Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician to identify opportunities, validate cabling, monitor tickets, and mentor staff. The role emphasizes SOP/MOP adherence and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to mitigate resiliency and availability risks.

Candidates should have DC hardware knowledge, be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work a rotating shift including nights and weekends. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, Linux/Unix, CLI, etc.)
• Good computer skills
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and long shifts
• Experience with mainstream ticketing systems is a plus
• Willing to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Datacenter Operations: Break/Fix and hardware maintenance for servers and components.
• Guide less experienced technicians on power distribution and replacement hardware.
• Network configuration, installation, and augmentation; validate cabling and connectivity.
• Technical support and troubleshooting within SLAs; document resolutions.
• Ensure SOPs/MOPs, security, and site rules compliance during tasks.
• Lead continuous learning and process improvements within global teams.
