Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Datacenter Services Technician to identify opportunities to upgrade server components, validate cabling, and monitor network environments. You will mentor technicians, implement technical solutions, and ensure SOPs/MOPs for Data Center Change Control are followed.

The role requires knowledge of server/storage/network hardware, strong time management, teamwork, and willingness to travel. Shift includes nights, weekends, and holidays; lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.

• IT Hardware Concepts knowledge (RAID, Linux/Unix, CLI, etc.)
• Good computer skills
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Able to work 10-12 hour shifts
• Any experience with mainstream ticketing systems is a plus
• Willing to travel as required
• Client experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Datacenter Services Operations-Break/Fix and Hardware Maintenance: identify opportunities for other team members to work with servers and main hardware to ensure lifecycle performance.
• Guides and coaches less experienced technicians on power distribution units and replacement hardware while maintaining critical infrastructure.
• Datacenter Services Operations-Network Configuration, Installation, and Augmentation: implement and validate network configurations and client sign-offs.
• Technical Support and Trouble Shooting: monitor tickets, escalate trends, and document resolutions within SLAs.
• Safety, Security, Compliance, and Documentation: ensure SOPs/MOPs adherence and site safety.
