Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Data Center Technician to identify opportunities for upgrading server components, validate cabling, and monitor work in a ticketing environment. The role involves mentoring technicians, implementing fixes, and ensuring SOP/MOP compliance for Data Center Change Control processes.

The candidate will act as a technical liaison across technical and non-technical teams, resolving resiliency and availability risks while supporting 24/7 on-site operations with flexible day/night

Qualifications

• 5 years of client-facing, direct customer support and data center experience.
• Ability to work 10–12 hour shifts; rotating days, nights, weekends.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Datacenter Services Operations-Break/Fix and Hardware Maintenance: identify and replace server components and mentor on hardware maintenance.
• Datacenter Services Operations-Network Configuration, Installation, and Augmentation: guide technicians on implementing network configurations and signing off on client configurations.
