Job summary

EH Group is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to be our technical and site design expert for data center customers and partners. You will own site planning, technical design and technical proposal writing, ensuring each opportunity starts from a solid, repeatable template.

Based in Houston, TX, with travel to customer sites, partners and our Swiss HQ, you will coordinate across multiple stakeholders and help scale a lean function into a scalable capability.

Qualifications

• An engineering degree and 8+ years of engineering practice.
• Strong hands-on CAD skills with ability to walk through recent work.
• Data center or industrial power design and development experience.
• Customer-facing track record with external stakeholders.
• Strong technical writing for proposals, RFPs and design basis documents.
• Comfort coordinating across customer, EPC, utility, gas supplier and financing advisors.
• First person in a lean function, able to set standards from a blank page.
• Houston-based with authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Site planning: layout, clearances, electrical and gas points, hydrogen siting, and constructability.
• Technical design: supervise CAD models, system arrangement, interfaces and reformer integration.
• Map customer specs to our tech and produce a compliance view.
• Size/configure systems to load, redundancy and availability targets.
• Own electrical tie‑in, cooling/heat recovery, controls and gas/hydrogen interfaces.
• Develop templates, reference layouts and a reusable content library.
• Write clear technical proposals and respond to RFPs, RFIs and questionnaires.
• Support customer financial models with technical inputs for bankability.
