Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of data center network infrastructure and cabling projects on-site at a designated site. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, and safety, and ensures customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

You will engage with clients, prepare proposals, oversee cost tracking, and drive continuous improvement across programs while upholding CBRE standards and the DL Way playbook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or similar experience.
• 10+ years of direct work experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environment.
• Track record of delivering mission critical programs on time, within budget, and to applicable build, quality, and safety standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and contract negotiation/administration.

Responsibilities

• The project manager is accountable for effective project management and delivery of their projects, developing program schedules and milestones.
• During pre-construction, evaluate materials and oversee cost estimates, design efforts and value engineering.
• Schedule the project, determine labor requirements, and coordinate site staffing.
• Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions, and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships.
• Inspect projects for codes/regs compliance and maintain CBRE safety and QA programs.
• Lead budgeting, cost tracking, reporting, and coordination with internal/external design, construction, and facilities partners.
• Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders and drive corrective actions.
• Recruit, train, and manage project staff and ensure client satisfaction.
