Job summary

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects within a site, requiring development, management, customer engagement and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years direct experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling.
• Track record of delivering mission-critical programs on time and within budget.
• Must meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in contract negotiation and administration.
• Experience building and leading teams.
• Experience coaching and mentoring direct reports and vendor teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Client engagement experience in similar programs.
• Familiarity with earned value management, SPI and CPI.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and budget activities for construction projects.
• Develop program schedule and milestones; manage schedule against targets.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with designers, contractors and suppliers.
• Obtain permits and licenses; supervise staff on site.
• Manage project cost, procurement, and invoicing.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and financial plans.
• Oversee quality control and safety programs.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners; communicate status and risks.
• Ensure compliance with codes and contract terms.
