Job summary

T5 Data Centers in Atlanta, GA is seeking a seasoned Preconstruction Manager to oversee the preconstruction process from concept through start of construction on multiple ground-up data center projects.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to deliver accurate estimates, schedules and cost plans, while leading a skilled team across projects valued around $10M+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years commercial construction experience required.
• 1+ years data center experience preferred.
• MS Project, Bluebeam and Procore experience required.
• Ability to read project documentation including blueprints and CPM schedules.
• Ability to perform onscreen takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction planning from conception to construction start.
• Oversee estimates, budgets and proposals with the team.
• Read blueprints and analyze documents to prepare estimates.
• Prepare conceptual estimates and schedules from program data.
• Identify labor, material and time requirements for bids.
• Lead subcontractor bid process and selection.
• Prepare final estimates and RFPs for owner presentations.
• Develop scopes of work for each trade and manage deliverables.
