Job summary

T5 Data Centers in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to support the preconstruction team in planning, data gathering, and the preparation of accurate cost estimates and schedules for data center projects.

You will read blueprints, price work by trade, coordinate with subcontractors, and develop detailed estimate packages while leading the design and preconstruction effort across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years Commercial Construction Experience, required.
• 1+ years Data Center experience, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, required.
• Microsoft Project, Bluebeam and Procore experience required.
• Ability to read project documentation and perform onscreen takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and schedules for multiple projects.
• Read blueprints and analyze project documents to prepare estimates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Prepare detailed cost estimate reports and RFPs.
• Lead the design and preconstruction efforts for assigned projects.
• Assist with subcontractor recommendation/selection and value engineering.
