Job summary

T5 Data Centers in Atlanta is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer to support the preconstruction department in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling. The role involves reading drawings, gathering data, and assisting in preparing accurate estimates and bid packages for data center projects.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, identify labor/material/time requirements, and help manage subcontractor bids while ensuring a clean handoff of information to the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CM/Arch/Engineering preferred.
• Ability to read project documentation including blueprints, specs, and CPM schedules.
• 1+ years commercial construction/estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing conceptual, lump sum, and GMP estimates.
• Gather project documents and perform takeoffs for estimate preparation.
• Read drawings and project requirements to prepare estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders during estimate creation.
• Assist with subcontractor bid packages and bid analysis.
• Support development of General Conditions and project schedules.
