Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Lead Data Center Controls Engineer – Power Systems to join our Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division. You will design, develop, test, and implement data center power protection and control solutions using PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and relays.

You will lead project planning, design documentation, and cross-functional execution while mentoring engineers and driving best practices. Travel ~30% is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience or Master’s with 5+ years.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
This role requires a valid driver’s license and MVR check.

Responsibilities

Lead execution of data center power control projects from design to testing.
Plan projects with PMs and engineering teams, develop schedules and IO lists.
Provide technical leadership and maintain project documentation.
Collaborate on proposals and ensure resource availability for projects.
Lead standardization efforts and mentor junior engineers.
