Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division seeks a Lead Data Center Controls Engineer – Power Systems to drive design, development, testing, and implementation of power control solutions for hyperscale data centers. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams across PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and protection relays, with 30% travel and a path to advanced certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience in power distribution or a Master's in Engineering with 5+ years.
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
PE license is a plus; Master of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of data center power control projects from design to site support.
Develop schedules, functional design documents, sequences of operation, I/O lists, and network architecture.
Provide technical leadership and coordinate resources; ensure documentation quality and project records.
Support proposals and ensure resource readiness and project execution capability.
Advance standardization, mentor engineers, and deliver performance feedback.
