Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead Data Center Controls Engineer – Power Systems to lead engineering, testing, and implementation of power controls for hyperscale data centers and MTDCs.

You will guide project planning, software development, and site acceptance testing while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role requires extensive knowledge of protection and control devices from major OEMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience or a Master’s with 5+ years’ experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Preferred PE license; MS in Electrical Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and implementation of power system controls for data centers.
• Plan projects, define schedules, resources, and architecture with engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure documentation quality and project records.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure readiness and execution.
• Mentor engineers and promote standardization and best practices.
