Job summary

Join Eaton and help power the world's most advanced data centers. The Lead Data Center Controls Engineer – Power Systems will lead design, development, testing, and implementation of power protection and control solutions for hyperscale customers, using PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and protection relays.

You will drive project planning, coordinate with PMs and engineering teams, mentor engineers, and ensure quality documentation while supporting proposals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience in power distribution applications or a Master's with 5+ years experience
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR check per policy
• PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of data center power control projects from design to site acceptance testing
• Coordinate with Project Managers and engineering teams on schedules and resources
• Mentor engineers and ensure quality documentation and records
• Support proposals and customer-facing activities to drive business growth
