Join Eaton and help power the world's most advanced data centers as a Lead Data Center Controls Engineer – Power Systems. You will lead design, development, testing, and implementation of power protection and control for hyperscale and MTDC customers using PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and protection relays.

This role requires 7+ years of controls experience (or 5 years with a Master’s), a Bachelor's/EE degree, and willingness to travel ~30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience in power distribution or a Master's with 5+ years.
• Willingness to travel ~30% of time.
• PE license preferred; strong knowledge of IEC 61850-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center power control projects from design through site acceptance testing.
• Plan projects with PMs, engineers, and resource planning documents.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure documentation quality and records.
• Collaborate on proposals with Negotiation/Application Engineers and with Operations.
• Drive standardization, mentoring, and continuous improvement within the team.
