Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a DCEO Cluster Manager to lead data center operations across multiple facilities, directing area and facility managers while ensuring 24x7 uptime and service excellence.

The role demands deep MEP infrastructure knowledge and strategic oversight of complex technical operations. You will interact with a global team, mentor managers, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet safety, reliability, and cost targets while advancing capacity planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of managing managers experience.
• 10+ years of mission critical facilities experience.
• In depth knowledge of Data Center Facilities such as generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS, electrical sub distribution systems, fire detection and suppression systems, cable reticulation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations management teams including facility managers, area managers, chief engineers and facility technicians.
• Establish performance benchmarks and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance.
• Oversee on-site 24x7 shift technicians, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Build and maintain a sustainable organizational structure.
• Collaborate with business development, real estate, engineering and construction to forecast staffing needs.
• Mentor and develop employees and participate in hiring events.
• Manage mechanical, electrical and controls systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Oversee repairs, meetings, reporting and global initiatives locally in Atlanta.
• Drive cost management (OPEX and CAPEX) across data centers and lead energy efficiency initiatives.
• Support capacity planning and ongoing construction activities.
