Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks an exceptional Data Center Operations Cluster Manager to lead multiple regional data centers, directing managers and hourly staff to achieve safety, availability, and efficiency goals.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, mentoring, and continuous process improvement in a high‑scale, hybrid IT environment. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of senior operations leadership in critical infrastructure, with Lean/Six Sigma expertise and strong knowledge of data

Qualifications

7+ years management experience in operations, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
3+ years experience implementing LEAN/6 Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, 5 Whys, RCA).
3+ years working with network cabling, optic types, and data center infrastructure best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Data Center Managers and 100–150 hourly associates across regional data centers.
Drive safety, security, availability, scaling, and efficiency in data center operations.
Plan, forecast, and optimize staffing, performance, and budgets; mentor staff and share best practices.
Oversee infrastructure buildouts, network/server rack deployments, and insourcing/outsourcing decisions.
