Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Cluster Operations Leader (Senior Manager) to oversee clusters and colocation operations across a region.

You will lead senior infrastructure teams, drive safety, availability, and cost efficiency, and partner with DCO and DCEO functions to optimize critical environments. The role requires extensive leadership experience in data center operations, strong strategic and hands-on capabilities, and a track record of delivering complex operational

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant management experience in datacenter operations or similar environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a track record of leading distributed teams.
• Proven ability to hire, develop and manage high‑performing teams across locations.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop the operations team, including managers and their teams.
• Achieve goals for safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency, and cost.
• Plan and execute Infrastructure Operations for new Data Centers and Colocation expansions.
• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and controls systems in Data Centers, including maintenance and change management.
• Manage Colocation Data Centers providers to meet SLAs.
• Lead safety, security, and availability incident response and resolution.
• Improve operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools continuously.
