Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a DCEO Cluster Manager to lead multiple data center facilities across a region, ensuring 24/7 operational reliability and world-class uptime.

You will manage Area Managers and Facility Managers, drive SOPs, monitor PUE, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on maintenance and expansion projects.

This executive role reports to AWS Infrastructure Services leadership and offers visibility within Amazon's data center operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of people management and team development experience.
• 5+ years of engineering work managing large-scale services experience.
• Experience operating a mission-critical team or product.
• Experience maintaining SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple data centers within a region, ensuring 24/7 operational reliability.
• Develop and implement SOPs for cluster operations.
• Manage a team of data center facility managers, chief engineers, and technicians.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on maintenance, upgrades, and expansion projects.
• Monitor and optimize power usage effectiveness (PUE) and other KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cluster operations.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
